I met Paulo, an incredibly talented and friendly guy, up in Harvard Square on the red line. I had seen him there once or twice, but like many subway performers, he comes and goes on his own time-table -- and it's always a treat to catch him when he's there. Paulo and I spent an hour hanging out and talking, and I can't wait to run into him again.

I found Salvador playing in his usual spot: the middle, Red Line platform at Park Street Station in Boston. Unfortunately, Salvador didn't speak English, and I didn't speak Spanish. But thanks to some translating on the front end (thanks Greg!) and the back end (thanks Kelly and Andy!), I was able to ask him a few questions.

I met James and Jonathan, one-half of the gospel quartet "The Harmonizing Stars of Boston", between the red and orange lines at Downtown Crossing station in Boston, MA. They were kind enough to allow me to shoot their performance, and make them the first episode of "stops & spots".
